Welcome to the new and improved website for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of ASIS.

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of ASIS is a registered not-for-profit organization; the activities and objectives of the Chapter are controlled by an Executive Board, and we are elected to 4 year terms by the membership. Membership to the Chapter is open to all active ASIS international members.

It is a great honor and privilege for me to be able to serve the members of the Chapter as their elected Chairman for 2009.

The Chapter Officers and I have a simple mission: Demonstrate to our membership, through our actions, that we are valuable resource for the San Francisco Bay Area security community.

This website is just one of the ways that we reach out to the membership to explain our programs, policies and decisions. The most critical component to our success is your willingness to give feedback, volunteer your time, and get involved in Chapter functions.

I believe that together we can make the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of ASIS an even greater community than what it is today, an environment dedicated to the betterment of the security professional and an ASIS Chapter second to none.
