"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade." - Charles Dickens
When I came across the above quote, the words instantly caused me to think of our Law Enforcement Appreciation Event. Just in case you weren't there, March 18th was one of those beautiful spring days; we couldn't have asked for better weather or for a better turnout with three-hundred people in attendance. We certainly couldn't have done it without our Corporate Sponsors and each of you who took the time to attend. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I'd also like express my gratitude to Debb Rodriquez our "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" Chairperson, Greg Christian our Co-Chairperson as well as Committee Members; Michael Clements, Art Lesser, David Morgan, Patrick Sharkey, Spike Speicher and Michael Ybarra for their outstanding work on both planning and executing our 48th Annual LEAD Event. It was fabulous!
Our next Chapter Meeting will take place on April 22nd at Yahoo where Kevin P. Sherburne, Supervisory Special Agent - Federal Bureau of Investigation, San Francisco Field Office will speak about Strategic Partnership with the FBI. I apologize in advance that I won't be able to be there for this month's meeting due to a conflict but Carlos Galvez our Vice Chairperson will lead the meeting in my absence. Don't forget that registration is open for our May Seminar & Exhibits, we're close to selling out our Vendor space but registration for the Seminars & Exhibits is off to a slow start. If you are a CPP, PCI or PSP attending either the full conference or utilizing our one-day seminar option, you'll be able to earn recertification credits.
Exhibits will take place one-day only on May 13th opening at 11:30 am till 7:00 pm. The Expo only portion of the event is free to all pre-registered attendees. If you arrive at 3:30 pm you'll have the opportunity to hear Mike Faddis - Sr. Technology Program Manager at Microsoft Global Security talk about Microsoft's Enterprise Security Solutions. Mike's presentation will be followed by a Cocktail and Hors d'oeuvre Reception in the Exhibit Area from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
We're hoping for an excellent turn-out so once again I'm asking for your participation. You'll think I'm a broken record by the end of this year but it is only through your participation that our events can truly succeed. For detailed information or to register click below:
