The Physical Security Professional (PSP) credential provides demonstrable knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures. Those who earn the PSP are ASIS board certified in physical security.
Registration is open for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of ASIS PSP Review being held July 13-14, 2017. Credit Karma is graciously providing the location space this year at their company headquarters in San Francisco, CA. This day and a half review will assist those seeking the Physical Security Professional designation to prepare for the exam. All of the presenters are PSPs.
The topics and scheduled presenters are as follows:
- Fundamentals of Physical Security, Risk Analysis and the Security Survey, System Requirements and Performance Specifications, Security Lighting, Intrusion Detection Systems, Electronic Access Control Systems, Barriers, Locks, Containers, and Contraband Detection, Surveillance and CCTV Systems, System Design and Report Elements, and Pre-Bid Criteria, Procurement and Systems Testing.

The cost of the review is $125 for current SFBA ASIS Chapter Members, $150 for ASIS members of other chapters, and $200 for Non-Members. Lunch will be provided for the first day. Register early, as class size is limited.
