Law Enforcement Appreciation
Discussed were the problems associated with the website registration. Curtis indicated he would look into the issue and make sure all website transactions were being recorded with the assistance of Steve Duell. Also discussed was the logistics of using the credit card payments for this event.
Craig Floyd with the Law Enforcement Museum will be the keynote speaker and will be bringing the museum’s artifacts for display. The Chapter will be making a donation to the museum during the luncheon.  Law enforcement participants and sponsorships are still needed. Brad Minnis, CPP indicated he would assist in both areas.

May Seminar
Doug Nunes reported that exhibitor registration is going very well, with 44 paid participants and 6 pending. With the current level of registration, the seminar is much farther along with registration than last year. It is expected that a full field will be seen. A Press Release has been prepared for distribution prior to the event. Further advertisement of the event was discussed.

A status meeting and site visit for the May seminar committee members was scheduled immediately after the executive council meeting. The majority of the logistical efforts relating to the event have been confirmed.

A seminar flyer will distributed at the Law Enforcement Appreciation luncheon.

Golf Tournament
Larry Reid reported the golf tournament is on track with no new updates. A flyer will be distributed at the upcoming luncheon.

Monthly Meetings
The dates for the November and December monthly meetings were selected. Advanced Micro Devices in Santa Clara is currently scheduled to host the November 21st meeting and the December 18th meeting does not have a host site as of yet.

Miscellaneous
Treasurer Curtis Given is scheduled to meet with Denny Haw again to complete the audit of the chapter’s financial records. Curtis also discussed issues relating to local membership dues and charges related to those dues. Furthermore, requested approval to transfer money from checking to savings to obtain savings interest.

A newsletter committee chair is needed to maintain and monitor the progress of the monthly newsletter.
