This year, watch this column for information about the various features of our web site. Each month we will be spotlighting a different web site feature to explain how it works and how it benefits our Chapter and its goals.

This month's featured web site feature is The CPP Area. 

The CPP Area is a special area for our Chapter's Certified Protection Professionals and for our Chapter members who are interested in becoming a CPP.  This web site feature is currently available to all of our members and we encourage you to take a look at this area.

The CPP Area has been a fundamental part of our web site ever since its inception.  Over the last couple of years we have added several items to this area and it has the potential to offer even more assistance.  Items that are currently available are:

• CPP Description and Contact Information
• Details on Eligibility and Recertification
• Download the CPP Application in Adobe Acrobat PDF file format
• Hyperlinks to our Membership Directory and the ASIS National web site CPP Area
• CPP Member Profiles and the Update CPP Member Profile form

Ron Sathre CPP has set a goal for our Chapter to increase the number of CPP members this year.  This goal not only benefits the Chapter, it also benefits the members to decide to take up this challenge.  We created the CPP area to assist our members who are interested in bringing their security career to a new level of professionalism.  To learn more about the benefits and motivation behind some of our Chapter CPP members, please be sure to visit the CPP Member Profiles.

We have discussed using the CPP Area for a variety of purposes and we would like to hear from you on what you would like to have added to the CPP Area.  We welcome your comments and suggestions because it helps us to determine which course to take to improve the CPP Area for your benefit.
