Executive Committee Meeting Minutes

January 18, 2001

• The meeting was called to order by Chapter Chair, Ron Sathre CPP
• Connie Vaughn will be handling the February meeting set up, finding a location, and a speaker.
• Discussed the new meeting format for this month held at Cisco and reviewed surveys. All indications suggest the format and program were a success and council agreed that new format should be followed in the future.
• Ron Sathre CPP discussed goals for the 2001 year and asked for input from the council.
• The following goals were discussed:
  • Increase membership by 10%
  • Increase member participation in meeting attendance, speaking and volunteering
  • Attempt to gain support to bring a CPP Review course to the Bay Area
  • Recognize long term ASIS members
• Discussed the need for the SFBA Chapter to look at its business practices as our membership is looking for change.
• Ron announced that the April meeting will be held at Agilent in Santa Clara
• Meeting adjourned.
