The value of the CPP is that
many contract security clients require your company to have a CPP on staff
and will only accept proposals signed by a CPP. |

Why should professionals
pursue the CPP designation? |
It has not been possible to
receive a college degree in security per se, the CPP assures the consumer,
colleagues and the industry that the person so designated and certified is
a high achiever in the industry that person represents. |

Achievements |
Started-up the security
function from ground zero at several fast growing companies, including
Businessland (5 years) and Cisco (5+ years). Implemented enterprise
networked security systems for global companies, including Cisco and
Synopsys (2+ years). These systems were tied not only into the main
network, but into functional systems within the business such as Finance,
HR, Manufacturing, Facilities, etc. Consulted with Fortune 500 companies
on systems, marketing of safety and security programs, use of high
technology in safety and security, and starting new programs. |
