How the CPP benefits me. |
Is a
recognized certification that establishes baseline competence and
credibility. Also,
indicates a commitment to professionalism. |
|
Value of the CPP |
Is
an important credential when applying for a job, seeking promotion, or
when submitting proposals to new consulting clients. |
|
Why should professionals
pursue the CPP designation? |
Why
Not? They have
everything to gain and nothing to loose.
A security management professional should challenge and test
themselves. A CPP
certification will set them apart from all the others who either failed to
try or fail to prepare themselves enough to pass the exam.
Success is the reward. |

Achievements |
During
my 28 years in the trade, I have worked for three major corporations in
security management and have operated my own security consulting firm for
over 16 years. There is
nothing more satisfying and financially rewarding than operating your own
corporation. I have written
and published one book entitled Security Adequate or Not, three book
chapters, and 75 trade journal articles.
I have been asked to speak over 50 times to various trade groups,
and am a regular industry resource to the media on the subjects of
security and crime prevention. I
have appeared or consulted on 20/20, 60 Minutes, Extra, CNN, BBC, WABC,
and more. I am writing a new
book entitled Apartment Security due out in the summer of 2000.
I am the Webmaster for the Crime Doctorä web
site at www.crimedoctor.com.
My security consulting practice takes me to all over the United
States and occasionally abroad. |
