Chairman's Corner

Our February meeting and workshop with Brad
Warren was a great success, everyone enjoyed Brad's outgoing
personality and the useful tips he shared which we could take away from the
program and use immediately.
Our March meeting is always an exciting one, for it gives
us the opportunity to thank all the Law Enforcement Professionals that assist us
in our daily jobs. David Gibbs has been hard
at work with his committee planning a spectacular March 17th event. Register
right away- or at least before the March 8th deadline so you get a seat!
For more details and to register.
The Annual Seminar and Exhibits Committee has been
working fast and furiously under the experienced leadership of Brenda
Knox and her co-committee chair Tom Haney.
The program is being finalized and brochures will be out soon. The all-day event
on May 18th will be preceded by the Chairman's Reception, also to be held at the
San Mateo Expo Center, on the evening before from 6-8pm. Last year the
Reception gave exhibitors a chance to visit with special customers, and
customers a chance to have some individualized attention time, as well as have a
good time in general- plan to join us! If you have not yet reserved your booth,
do so now by contacting Paul Klutz at 925-634-3758 or email pklutz@securitytechnologies.com.
March 30th is the pre-registration deadline for exhibitors.
We are moving forward with plans to put our directory on
the web, behind password protection available only to Chapter members. This year
we plan to print a limited number of hard copy directories available only at our
meetings, for those who cannot access the web to print their own. Chapter dues
will continue at $20.00 to support the website and other Chapter functions.
I look forward to seeing you on March 17th at 11am
at the Sunnyvale Hilton for the St. Patrick's Day Law Enforcement
Appreciation Luncheon!
