Executive Council Meeting Minutes

Thursday, 15 July, 1999

1. The meeting was called order by Chapter Chair Kathy Schnake, CPP.
2. Connie Vaughn indicated that the Golf Tournament registration was going well. Ideas for prizes were discussed. Connie was going to do some further research and report on her recommendations.
3. Kris Rennett, Annual Seminar and Exhibits Chairman for year 2000, indicated that the committee would begin meeting in October and that they were going to review the matter of how to handle registration. They would be soliciting bids to see what it would cost to hire an outside agency to do the task.
4. Janice Peth, CPP Review Committee Chairman, indicated that she had enlisted new volunteers to assist with the committee. They were going to be working to put together a review and would be soliciting input from the membership as to how best to accomplish the task. 
5. John Suhr, Placement Chairman, indicated that the new web page format was working well. 
6. Brenda Knox, RVP, informed the Council that she would not be continuing as RVP and asked people interested to contact her directly.
7. Dennis Haw reported on the status of the September 16, 1999 seminar. Brochures are mailed.
8. A discussion was held on the purpose of chapter dues and possibly putting the chapter directory onto the web page. Kathy Schnake asked that the discussion be tabled to a later meeting so that the topic could be fully reviewed. Kathy agreed to set a meeting for August. 
9. The meeting was adjourned.
