HISTORIAN COMMITTEE
Historian Committee Chairman Kathy Schnake is soliciting your assistance to
send all Chapter correspondence from all committees and officers so that this
information can be filed for future reference. Information that is currently on
file includes copies of all newsletters for all years, financial records, tax
records, correspondence with ASIS National, I.B Hale submittals, Treasurer and
Secretary reports and national forms (Form 10s). If you have any of this
information, please arrange to get it to Kathy so it can be cataloged and filed.
The Historian Committee recently had a research assignment for the chapter,
which required access to the Chapter's historical files. The purpose of
historical files is to maintain a history of this chapter. Unfortunately, the
files are lacking in very important information, with a significant gap between
years 1986 and present. If you have any files from the Chapter for any of those
years please contact Kathy Schnake to arrange to get this information to her.
Additionally, over the years the Chapter has collected many awards and
plaques, which should be on file with the historian so that these items are
available for display at the various Chapter events such as the Annual Seminar.
We are proud of our Chapter and want to advertise the various achievements. If
you have any plaques, which belong to the Chapter, please contact Kathy to make
arrangements to get those plaques returned so that all members can enjoy them.
