Revised Placement Committee Format

The next exciting change for the Web Site is that the Placement Committee services will be going on-line, effective July 1, 1999. The Placement Corner will list all open positions, providing company names, addresses, contact numbers (voice, FAX, e-mail, and/or web site). Candidates looking for a new security position will be able to go directly to the Web site to review the available positions and be able to directly contact the company regarding the position of interest. Where available, and with the company’s concurrence, the SFBA Web site will provide links to the company’s web site.

Now every member will be part of the Placement Committee. Please spread the word about this no fee service. The goal of the Placement Committee is to help the membership find the job opportunities. Let your companies know that there is another place for them to advertise (at NO FEE) and to reach the professional security industry. Also, when a job is filled, potential candidates are the first to know; now you can assist the Placement Committee by feeding back closed job status, helping to keep the information current.
