Another St. Patrick's Day extravaganza has come and gone. I want to personally thank each committee member who contributed time and effort in making this event the success it was. Additionally, I would like to thank the sponsors of the event and the companies of the volunteers. Without this group and the volunteers, there would be no event. THANK YOU!!

Things to be marking on your calendar include the Annual Seminar and Exhibits, which will be May 20, 1999 at the San Mateo Expo & Convention Center. Brenda Knox and Paul Dubois (co-Chairs for this committee) and the rest of this very hard working committee have put together an excellent program. There are several changes this year including the new location so come and see what is new not only in the security product market but in how this event has been improved and expanded. You won't be disappointed.

The 1999 Chapter Directory is scheduled to be mailed to the chapter members in March. Brad Wilson, Committee Chairman, and his staff have been working very hard to make this valuable information tool. Included with the directory will be the invoice for Chapter Dues. Dues this year will be at the same rate as previous years of $20.00. Be sure to return your statement and check early.

The next meeting is April 15, 1999 and the location is new. This meeting will be at the Sunnyvale Hilton located at Highway 101 and Lawrence Expressway on the frontage road. Greg Morrill will have a dynamic workshop lined up to provide valuable information as well as an interesting luncheon speaker.
