Our 36th St. Patrick's Law Enforcement Appreciation Day luncheon will be held at the Marriott Hotel on Wednesday, March 17.  Art Lesser, the committee chairman, with assistance from Silicon Graphics, AMD, Merit Security and Kendra our Hospitality Co-Chair, promises to produce an outstanding event. Mark you calendars, invite your guests, and make plans to attend this historic and fun event.

February's workshop was presented by Ms. Justine Witt Milani and Mr. Tyler Paetkau from the law firm of Sheppard, Millin, Richter, and Hampton.  Their presentation on the topic of Workplace Investigations was outstanding and well attended.  The luncheon speaker, San Jose Chief of Police Bill Lansdowne kept the audience entertained as well as informed.  Many thanks to Greg Morrill for his efforts in bringing us quality speakers.

Another outstanding event to place on your calendar is the Annual Seminar and Exhibits scheduled for May 20th, Brenda Knox, Paul Dubois (committee co-chairs) and this hard working committee are putting together what promises to be the best Seminar and Exhibits to date.  Please note that the new location has been changed.  The new location is the San Mateo Convention and Expo Center located at Highway 92 and 101.  We want to see all of the chapter members at this information packed event.

The 1999 Chapter Directory is scheduled to be mailed to the chapter members in March.   Brad Wilson, Committee Chairman, and his staff have been working very hard to make this a valuable information tool.  Included with the directory will be the invoice for Chapter Dues.  Dues this year will be at the same rate as previous years of $20.00.  Be sure to return your statement and check early.

See you at the St. Patrick's Day at the Marriott.
