New Corporate Security Management Certificate
Classes Offered at UC Santa Cruz extension
A new core course in 'Critical Incident Management" will be offered starting Feb
24,1999. The class is held on four Wednesday evenings from 5:30PM to 9:30PM and on two
Saturdays at the campus in Santa Clara. The class will prepare a person with security
responsibility to perform their role in critical incidents whether they are natural
disasters, workplace violence incidents, destruction of data, bomb threats, hazardous
materials incidents, as well as what to expect from emergency responders such as local
fire departments.
A new elective course 'Basic Networks for Security" will be offered spring quarter
as will the core course "Investigations in Industry" (High Tech Investigations).
